They said that we would wish for what we did not have. That was true, and it had always made me curious. I understood it, yet I did not at the same time. Was it that I understood the morality, but not the principles behind it? No matter how many times I tried to find myself, I would never feel satisfied. Perhaps, it was just my boredom, or it was something more. Perhaps, I was blinded by the cheap dopamine. But I knew, something was not right. Something was holding me back, but I could never explain it, not even to everyone, let alone myself. It was a pain, a pain of curiosity. I felt like drowning in a thought that could never be answered... I found it.
...That day, the digital clock alarmed my mind to wake me up from the slumber. I pressed the button gently; the alarm clock stopped making noises. This was the first day of academy. Apparently, I was lucky enough to study a magic at Essencion, the prestigious college for those who wanted to learn a subject-based magic. The moment I saw my name in the list, I was joyful. I finally took a bath, dressed up, did a therapy on my skin before I set my feet out of my apartment, heading toward Essencion.

The distance between me and the college was not exactly exaggerating. It was just only five kilometers away. After a few minutes, I reached the place. It absolutely looked so grand and amazing with the dark academia style. Yet, I sensed something that was out of ordinary, but I could never put a word to it. It was as if I knew, but my mind would never let allow to speak of such...
And that moment, I never knew if it was the blessing or the curse.
