Fact 1:

  Starting in the Galar Mines, I planned for Domino and Amethio to be separated so Domino could go back the way she had come. Outside she was supposed to meet up with Zir and Conia.

  Well ... then the passage broke down.

  Then the Galarian Moltres showed up.

  Running away ... didn't work out...

  Fact 2:

  Domino's change was planned because girls like to be pretty and tend to try out new stuff. However, it came as a surprise that her dad was in charge of her hair before she got to a professional hairdresser and everything I can say is ... it felt like personal trauma here.

  "You look fancy", was the ultimate summary of my mom whenever she wanted to low-key tell me that, "with a hat, nobody will notice".

  Dear lord, never again!

  Fact 3:

  A close friend of mine had the honour to read snippets of Whispers whenever I got a new chapter done.

  Her lovely comment whenever Spinel showed up? "EEEWWW!"

  To celebrate her distaste, here is a picture of the moment when Spinel spooked Domino while they were searching for Munna.

  Fact 4:

  Eevee vs. Umbreon was a little surprise to me because Eevee was way more stubborn than imagined. That made me somewhat cheer when Umbreon smacked him down. Eevee deserved it!

  Fact 5:

  Domino's conversations with Natural were my favourite parts! I just had to put them together and they started talking. All I had to do was to note it down.

  Fact 6:

  The moment Domino was attacked by Team Plasma when she was on a "Date" with Spinel, my mind was pretty sure that she would get fixed by some random doctor, and everything was going to be fine.

  When she met Ariana, I was somewhat confused.

  And when I found out WHY Ariana is there ... let me say ... I hated myself and my planning process quite much...

  Fact 7:

  Guess what? That woman who attacked Domino was way more psycho than expected.

  And here you got the scene where Spinel carries Domino back to headquarters!

  Fact 8:

  After Spinel stopped Domino from following Ghetsis, the two were supposed to go their separate ways because of their fighting. I wanted Domino to be a little alone and use her brains.

  Well ... let's say, Spinel is quite sticky.

  Fact 9:

  The plan was for Zinzolin to abduct Domino to make Ghetsis happy.

  If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

  And then Ghetsis said, "I'll do it myself!"

  All the while Domino hoped to see Amethio sleeping like that one more time since he was sick at that time.

  Fact 10:

  Until Cofagrigus showed up, I didn't know Domino had met it before.

  Colour me surprised.

  Fact 11:

  All those Amethio-Dream scenes weren't planned and I needed to add them when I was close to finishing the second act. I just needed this ... feeling of Domino starving a little for him.

  Had way more fun than expected!

  Fact 12:

  I have absolutely no fucking idea why I created the Dream Ball. Really.

  Originally, I planned to make a sweet little side story out of it in the middle of Act Two. But I just couldn't decide who to put in that ball.

  And now I'm sitting here, trying to find a solution. Applause!

  Fact 13:

  Did I mention that Domino was supposed to get hot pink hair in this act?

  On top, Eevee was supposed to be shiny. But my dumb ass totally forgot to mention it so now we are stuck with a normal one.

  Fact 14:

  I had no idea Domino's dad was friends with Alder.

  Seriously, those characters give me a headache.

  And then Domino saved Unova and hugged Natural to save him from his father.

  Fact 15:

  I also planned for Coro to meet Unfezant, fall in love with her, and leave the team right after. But tearing Domino and him apart was quite a challenge.

  Then followed Halloween and Amethio's birthday, and THEN I could finally separate them.

  Just took 8 extra chapters I hadn't planned for.

  Fact 16:

  Oh, and I think you can see that Alder wasn't planned at all. But, oh well, it seems Roma Simpell has friends.

  Fact 17:

  Writing the Halloween chapter from Raya's perspective was ... a ride. I wanted to do it out of Eevee's eyes, but Growlithe is so ... out of space and such a little dork. Felt like writing from the perspective of a Golden Retriever.

  Meanwhile, Domino and the others had fun with Halloween. She will forever regret the fake teeth!

  Fact 18:

  By the way: I love Pumpkaboo!

  Knowing that they are souls who find a place in pumpkins to lead other, lost souls into the afterlife just made me want to include them in the Halloween extras!

  And then Amethio had his birthday and I absolutely fucked up Domino. But hey, it is what it is.

  Fact 19:

  I thought Act 2 would be shorter than Act 1. But thanks to all the extra stuff I had to do, Act 2 was around 10K longer than Act 1.
