Yvlena narrowed her eyes at Dominique's tone, what if she wasn't an ally of the Harvest Guardian? Would it be wise to tell her anything?
It was a gamble but there had only been friendly or neutral NPCs within Bloom Haven so far and that probably wasn't about to change.
“It's my duty as the Harvest Guardian to stop gods who pose a danger to Selendriel and Vaelindor, the patron gods of our town.” Yvlena replied confidently.
She expected the woman to be taken aback. To be shocked or even surprised by her words.
But Dominique only seemed to scrutinize her, studying Yvlena from head to toe like a specimen.
“So Rael’s gone and died has he?” Dominique said softly. She bowed her head in sorrow and Yvlena was suddenly regretful of her thoughts towards the bird-like woman.
“Like many of the people in the town I guess you knew him.” Yvlena said in a softer tone.
Dominique only grunted in acknowledgement of her words, in a way the interaction reminded Yvlena of Bavga, she wondered how the Swamp hag was doing.
Did she feel better after the lake beside the swamp had been purged of the Miasma?
The archivist turned her nose up at Yvlena in a similar way to what Viviana had done while she worked at Nue corp. It didn't bother the elven girl, all she needed were answers.
“So you're the one that's been dealing with our Miasmic trouble, must be quite the hassle for a little girl, elf or not.” Dominique said.
“Yeah, it's been a challenge but I always seem to rise to the occasion.” Yvlena replied dryly.
Another grunt escaped Dominique.
“Is there something you want to ask me? You seemed interested when I mentioned wanting to kill Enis, she's the one that polluted the Verdant Lake.”
Dominique turned around and began walking.
“I hope you haven't bitten off more than you can chew girl. Restore the Manor a bit more then come and see me.” Dominique said. Her footsteps echoed as she walked away, probably heading towards the bowels of the library where the archives lay.
Strangely, Dominique’s words didn't raise a quest prompt.

“Weird, I'm sure that was a quest marker.” Yvlena said to herself and lifted the tome to continue reading about The Gods of Moon Valley.

The pollutant gods named in order are Nerabella, Enis, Poiseda and lastly Alberin.
It is considered a bad omen to encounter any one of these gods out in the open. They are said to curse or even transform innocents, land and even objects into monstrous beings.
These Miasmic entities go on to cause destruction as they do the biddings of these pollutant gods.]
“So that's why there are creatures all over the place!” Yvlena gasped, she wondered if Enis was also the one who cursed the people at the outpost and if she was the one that caused the Miasmic barriers to appear.
The thought of one being causing so many problems for her beloved town made Yvlena grip the sides of the book with rage. All the fear she had previously felt towards the being was replaced with a steely resolve to end her.
Enis wouldn't get away with this, not so long as Yvlena remained the Harvest Guardian.

Enis
The polluter of waters as she is called in the various tongues of Moon Valley, most especially by the elves and humans.
Primarily a water goddess of order she seeks to calm the chaos of the water both large and small by causing great stagnation.
Within these still pools of putrid water she sometimes makes her home.
Enis has a penchant for corrupting aquatic and amphibious creatures such as frogs, fish and other animals that decide to make their homes near bodies of water.
Though rare she may choose to curse humans, making them into unholy amalgamations of man and beast.
She is marked as the bane of fishermen.]
The book didn't have any more information on the other pollutant gods and their passages were left blank.
That didn't matter for now as Yvlena now understood what had happened to Crocante and Codhessen.
“Poor Crocante, he must have tried to fight Enis off to protect his home. And all he got in turn was corruption.” Yvlena said, placing the book back in its slot.
[More information will be revealed as you progress]
The game told her, but she already knew that much.
“What am I going to do about Enis?” Yvlena said to herself, she didn't think she had progressed enough to fight a god of all things. Even if it was a minor one.
“There's nothing minor about Enis or the other pollutant gods now, I'd say they're quite a major problem.”
For now the most pressing quest would be Risel's escort mission, if the elf wanted to see the barrier, Yvlena had to hear up to face another escort mission like Dylan's.
In her heart she knew Risel had more sense and had even gone to the Verdant Woods before it fell under the control of the Miasma.
‘But how many years ago was that?’ Yvlena wondered. Elves lived a long time and she still didn't know how long Risel had been in the small town of Bloom Haven.
Seeing as she was done with the library for now she stopped by the front desk to bid Laurent farewell for the day only to find he was not at his usual spot.
Yvlena shrugged and assumed he was off with the rest of the town decorating for the upcoming festival. She had to remember to log in at that time so she wouldn't miss the celebration.
In his words, a lot of it was due to her.
Upon returning to the Rose Manor, Yvlena laid down under her favorite tree and closed her eyes.

Aya took the Revista off her head and placed it on the new bedside table that sat beside her new bed.
She marvelled at it for a moment, realizing she was someone who had fancy furniture that wasn't bought just out of necessity.
She had enough money to live comfortably and decorate.
A dream come true.
Aya shut down her laptop and reminded herself that it's time was drawing near, when the update came around she wouldn't be able to run with Moon Valley anymore.
She closed the lid of her PacBook, running her hand over the cover with a sad expression. Memories rose to the surface and Aya began remembering how it came into her possession.
It seemed so long ago since she heard Mrs. Lutz coming down the stairs to dispose of her grandson’s old things.
Aya recalled how lucky she felt getting a 10th gen PacBook that barely made the cut off to run Moon Valley.
Now she was in Mericross wondering if that same stroke of luck would hit her again.
Aya changed into pajamas and crawled into bed with thoughts in her mind when it suddenly hit her.
She sat up abruptly with a sharp gasp that forced air into her lungs.
“Isn't Daichi in Mericross?!”
