Mixed Martial Arts
Grappling, disarming and shoving at the most rudimentary level.
-Mod: Damage with Unarmed Attacks now rely on your Agility rather than your Strength.
-Mod: Hobble. Activate hobble to slow a target's movement speed by 30% for 30 seconds.
Thump
Once per minute you may use your hammer to daze your opponent. This interrupts channeled actions and makes your target ‘off-guard’. Some creatures are immune to being dazed.
-Mod: Successfully striking a target with Thump reduces their chance to hit for 30 seconds.
Slice becomes Guillotine Blade
Once per minute you may use your blade to cause a damage over time effect. This effect causes damage every second based on your key ability and the level of your Blades skill.
-Mod: If you strike from hiding the target must resist your Agility with their Vitality or become stunned for three seconds. If you strike a target who is aware of you with Guillotine Blade they are silenced and unable to speak for ten seconds. If the creature resists your attack it still suffers the effects of Backstab. Creatures without vital organs are immune to Guillotine Blade.
-Mod: Silent Movement and Light Blade Synergy: Backstab. If you strike a creature from hiding double the amount of initial damage and any damage over time effects.
Weaving
The speed of your weaving weapons rarely deflects attacks. You may strike with your offhand weapon with reduced chance to hit and damage.
-Mod: Your Agility is considered 20 pts higher for the purposes of strike speed, and five points lower for the purposes of successful strikes while Dual Wielding. All attacks with your off-hand weapon cause ? half normal damage.
Passive Abilities (5 of 5)
Stealth Expert
Once per hour you will be warned that you are about to be seen and have a chance to retreat into the shadows.
-Mod: You now move at 75% speed while in stealth rather than 50%.
Evade
Once per minute you may dodge one incoming attack you are aware of.
-Mod: Roll with the Damage. Even when you fail to dodge an attack your ability to roll with the strike reduces the damage by 10%.
Sense the Unseen
Slightly increases your chance of noticing a hidden enemy or trap.
-Mod: You now automatically know when something has been intentionally hidden nearby. You have a small chance, based on your Spirit score, to know the general location that the unhidden person, object or trap is hidden.
-Mod: You are immune to the blindness condition. You know the position of every creature and trap within thirty meters. Finally, you know the general position of magically invisible creatures even if you may still struggle to strike them.
Endurance
Vitality more heavily affects the efficiency of your Essence use.
Life Fiend
Vampires eschew the necromantic energies that keep a withered corpse or walking skeleton moving for the power of Essence. You lose your stamina and mana pools and acquire the ability to function to use magic and your weapon arts utilizing the power of the Essence you consume.
-Mod: Abstract Feeder: You are not a careful eater and it shows. You no longer have to use your fangs to activate Life Fiend to feed. You can absorb life force through your skin.
-Mod: You may drink Essence to increase your hp regeneration to one hundred hp per second. If your hp is already full you gain the ‘Exalted High’ buff (+20% to Strength, Agility, and Vitality) for one minute. If you are at 0 Essence you gain the Withered debuff. Outside of combat you regain twenty hp per second unless that damage was caused by silver, running water, or fire.
-Mod: In addition to your essence pool the item equipped in your Shoulder slot becomes a cloak made of Essence. It will extend behind you and grow longer as your pool is filled. This increases your Essence pool by one hundred.
Active Abilities (5 of 5)
Eyes of Theodora
You can see in complete darkness as if it was bright as day.
In addition, by meeting the eyes of an intelligent target you attempt to charm them. This is an opposed Charm test and requires a constant expenditure of stamina.
-Mod: Boil Blood
In addition to Eye’s normal effects you may now utilize it against enemies. Any target that can see you the stackable Blood Boil debuff for five seconds. While they are affected by this debuff they are 1% more vulnerable per stack to slashing attacks and bleed effects. This debuff decreases by 1% every second after five seconds have passed.
Crimson Dance: (Stance) Activating Crimson Dance increases your Dodge skill by two. All Light Blade attacks cause the effect of Slice, cost 75% less Essence, and cause 50% more damage to Off Guard targets.
-Mod: Mesmerizing Dance: While in your Crimson Dance stance all enemies within fifteen feet of you must oppose your Charm with their Spirit or suffer a -10% to all damage.
-Mod: Waltz of the Mad. Building on your advancement into Mesmerizing Dance targets lose their debuffs to damage and instead must resist your Charm with their Spirit. If they fail they become confused and see your face in every nearby target. They may turn on each other in their madness.
Dance of the Rose Hurricane: Expend 50% of your Essence pool. Every droplet of Essence cast off by one of your slashes becomes a deadly projectile. A five meter vortex of Essence shards surrounds you and tears into any target within. When Dance of the Rose Hurricane ends, you consume all Essence that is part of and spilled by the Hurricane
Blood Mist
For a time period equal to your Charm in seconds you may take on the form of a bloody mist able to fly for a short distance and pass through obstacles and into closed off areas.
Surging Blood
Deplenish your Essence reserves by 75%. For ten seconds (by your perception) you move so quickly that your enemies stand still. You can still attack and cast spells while under the effect of Surging Blood.
Crafting Abilities (1 of 5)
Quick Trap becomes Quick Ward: Once per hour you may quickly throw out a temporary ward that lasts 30 seconds + 10 seconds per skill level. The ward either slows an affected creature by 50% or causes a damage over time effect for 15 seconds. Choose damage type when created.
-Mod: You have gained the elemental suite of explosive minor warding runes for free. Be vigilant, you may be able to find new recipes in the wilds!
-Mod: You now have access to the Lesser suite of explosive wards. You may use Quick Ward once per minute rather than once per day.
