Chapter 46– Rea (King) (2)
“Hha..hha..hha.” Lloyd panted as his Domain slowly shrunk, eventually dissipating. His eyes were shaken and sweat covered his face. He looked to his right, Imaez was busy killing off Nightmarish creatures, the duo of Marie and Naomi were busy fighting off a horde. And Falcon…
“GAAAAA!” Falcon’s relentless roars paired with his lunges constantly forced Yumin onto the edge. He swung his sword of light, getting increasingly closer to harming Yumin before something of the most unpleasant degree happened.
“Your eyes, the only thing I see in your future..” Yumin let his hand out, growing it closer to Falcon’s face.
Falcon’s sword swung and swung, scraping Yumin’s neck.
Blood dripped out.
“..is death.”
Yumin’s face turned into a psychotic smile.
“I’m blessed to be the one to say…”
“I killed you.”
A sword appeared out of a rip in spacetime! A dimensional pocket closed as this mysterious sword instantaneously pierced Falcon in his back!
“Grrhkk…” Falcon groaned as he withheld his much desired screams of agony.
Blood flowed down the ominous metal of the sword, Falcon’s back made a squelching noise as the blade twisted, piercing through his abdomen.
The Fearless One continued his valiant effort to slay the General, yet his body couldn’t comply with his heart.

*I promised myself…* Falcon walked closer to Yumin, whom was only around 6 feet away. His footsteps were slow, barely moving. His eyes darted down as blood gushed from his abdomen.
“No…” Falcon’s fearless eyes turned towards Yumin. He stepped once more before collapsing on one knee. The sword ripped out of his back, causing more blood to ooze out. Imaez and Lloyd’s attention were sent towards Falcon’s depleting Soul Pressure.
“Damn it!! Falcon!” Imaez screamed. “Get your shit together and stand up..! We can’t do this thing without you.”
*What do you think I’m trying to do, jackass…* Falcon’s body pushed through his pain, but it was failing on him. Every effort he made, he fell back down, lying on his stomach with his breath slowed.
His eyes were slowly closing, he couldn’t sustain it anymore, until—
“FALCON REA!” Naomi screamed, looking behind her as she crushes a Nightmarish monster with her gravitational abilities.
“If you don’t get up..” She pointed her eyes to meet his eyes. “I’ll never forgive you!!”
“I’ll make it easy for you, Fearless King.” Yumin walked above his body.
He clutched the sword from his dimensional rifts.
“I’ll kill you, for you.” The sword swung down to the Rea’s neck!
…
“Hmmm? Commander Aurelian, what could you possibly be doing down here?” Jasmine Urame stood atop of Aurelian— who was lying on his back.
“None of your business, Urame.” He was about to get before she sat on his legs, moving her face closer to his.
“Nope… answer my question Commander. I like you so, I won’t snitch.” She snickered as she got up. “So, what’s the story?”
Aurelian sighed as he adjusted his uniform. He dusted off his clothes before putting his military cap on.
“I was down here to get information on Archaia and Velarun.”
Jasmine laughed. “You’re such a bad liar! You were getting information on the old nations for 4 days? Your curly head is all frizzy, your eyes look like they’re closed, not to mention you look stressed out.”
“Be honest.” Her tone was deeper and she looked at him sternly. “What did you really see?”
Aurelian’s hands twitched.
*Do I have to kill her? The fact that she knows about this library means that she knows about everything I know! Damn it..* He moved his hands to his back trying to summon a sword.
He whispered under his breath— “Summon…”
…
Nothing happened. Jasmine looked at him with a confused look, what was he trying to attempt? Aurelian shared the same confused look.
*My Soul Pact…? Is it not working?*
BWOOOSH! A body thumped!
“Ack!” A body tumbled down through the library. Aurelian and Jasmine’s eyes turned to the commotion.
“Oh, it’s just you.” Aurelian’s sighed of relief.
Hughman Janaden was on all fours trying to recollect himself.
The Janaden’s brown hair was messy, his black uniform spoiled with dust and debris. His face covered in a grey powder. Unbefitting for a man such as his rank.
“Take a shower when you get back to your dorm. I can smell your stench.” Jasmine looked at him in disgust, with a hint of pity.
“Wow, you could be nicer, y’know?” Hughman looked up. “Jasmine and the Commander, sorry for my intrusion. General Romulus told me to get down here.”
Hughman stood up and looked at Aurelian.
“You’ve been summoned to the thirtieth floor.”
