  Part Avery is finished, and what's ahead starts a few years later, when a young scientist named Tian does the impossible: he opens the Gate that's been sealed for years. Taj finally has hope: Song's Crystal device might be there, holding his husband's consciousness.

  But Song wasn't just Taj's soulmate; he was a famous Army Commander, a weapon inventor whose creations are still not surpassed. Song's Crystal itself contains enough power to be weaponized. It's not surprising that everyone starts to hunt for it, so to resurrect Song, Taj must reach the device first. But how can he do it without destroying the entire planet? And even if Taj succeeds, one devastating question remains: If Song returns, who will he be?
