It's 20 hours to extraction, and Goji and her friends are at the remains of the port where the boat will be. Though this is a dangerous mission , she spent the previous 10 hours resting to regain strength and take supplies . Now at the port, she gives the backpack with the little friends to the retriever, [Kin] - Okay, Kin , this is your mission : protect the little friends inside the backpack and follow the orders of this one here . *She hugs the German Shepherd, [Cha] and hands him a little bag with a paper inside.* And you, Cha, will protect Kin and the little guys since I won't be there . If you see a ship, you have to bark and present the bag to them, okay? It has a letter saying that you are with me... and a little threat for good measure. You understood? Cha looks at Goji, who is hugging him, his tail moving behind him as, with intelligence, he takes the bag in his mouth and starts guiding Kin, who has the backpack with the little friends, to a hiding spot near the port . The backpack has enough supplies to survive, so they are in a good enough safety net . Goji watches them until they disappear into the hiding spot before she starts moving toward the extinct volcano. - Hm, do dogs have blue panels? Or why are they so intelligent ? Thoughts for another moment . Let's gather information so I can trade it for better things ; maybe I will get some heads to prove my value to... *sigh* Thinking about human politics and stuff is tiresome enough. Good thing I read about it in the library. The trail toward the HQ of the monsters and the pce of the gate is silent through half the way until... Goji stops in an instant as she looks around , her tail rigid as she puts all her senses into the feeling she has... then she ducks to the ground as many fireballs pass above her head . She quickly stands and prepares for combat, looking around wildly for any other attack and trying to catch where the attacks come from ... Minutes pass in silence as if the isnd has been deserted. The only evidence of her being attacked is the marks in the trees around her . After not spotting anything for some time, she starts walking toward the objective again, her senses on high alert as she walks through the dense foliage ... More minutes pass, and as she walks through a very inclined part, her focus dwindles for a second . The attacks come again - fireballs and fire spears are thrown at her, and with the terrain making it difficult to maneuver, she is hit by the bulk of the attacks before quickly taking cover . This time the attacks continue constantly, leaving no time for her to make a pn . She takes some rocks and throws them toward the origin of the attacks and makes a run toward the objective... Throughout the trail toward the HQ, more ambushes are made against her . Anytime she tries to counterattack, it is futile . The time she tries to follow the attackers, she is promptly lured into a kill zone, where, in her favor, she kills some of her attackers-the same type of soldiers she encountered in the cabin-but the rest escape in too many directions to be viable. Like that , she finally makes it to the entrance of the volcano . A tunnel is in front of her, the entrance without anyone guarding it... Her gut feeling says it's a trap... but she really wants to have leverage, and... she is a monster ; she can deal with any problem ... right? The tunnel curves in many zones ; it seems it is made from a va path already extinct. Throughout the way, she can see torches illuminating the path , and with some final steps , she gets out of the tunnel into a grand space - the interior of the extinct volcano . From her position, she can see a red gate, big and ominous as if it were made from fmes and blood . In front of it, a mountain of corpses can be seen, many with military uniforms or some type of equipment . She can identify them as those who defended the evacuation and fought the bulk of enemy forces on top of the corpse hill . A big corpse sits ; this one has been cut, burned, and broken. The integrity of it makes it clear that it suffered the most in combat, but the most prominent detail is that it is headless - not a clean cut, but as if it was ripped from its head. The only saving grace is that it looks like it was done after the man had already died . Before she can continue looking around and recollecting details, she feels something clinging to her ankle, and before she can look at what it is, a feeling of floating invades her as she is pulled through the air and smmed into a blood-covered ground in front of the corpses... She slowly rises from the ground, the heavy sm making her a bit dizzy as she looks at what attacked her. Then the otherwise dimly lit space is slowly illuminated by torches around the pce . Many of the ones Goji cataloged as officials gather, surrounding the circumference of the area and slowly stopping, perfectly creating a circle around Goji and the hill of corpses... Then, before Goji can devise a pn... the gate swirls wildly... like a gate from hell has appeared. The gate blooms like a flower, and from it comes the one who has instilled fear in all the defenders of the isnd - a demon, a monster, a creature from a book . With chants from those surrounding Goji, the Balrog appears. The first thing that comes to the eye is the neckce of skulls around its neck, then the volcanic rock from what seems to be its body. It slowly stands before Goji , looking down at her, even as she is already 2 meters tall . This creature towers over her without problem, but the Queen of Monsters doesn't step back, even at this moment...
