Investigation

As they started to leave the dorms, they immediately heard noises from other rooms; some were people arguing, others were people fighting, and sometimes they would hear team members enjoying each other's company a lot. As they continued down the hallway, they were careful not to make any loud noises to not alert any other students or school staff who might be walking in the hallways. They were successful until they heard loud footsteps coming from the elevator.

"$h1t, what do we do now, guys?" whispered Marv to the others, just as he said that the footsteps kept getting louder and louder. The others started to panic about what to do until Marc passed out a few strange orbs and signaled to press the button on top of them. After they pressed the button, they seemed to turn invisible, but then they realized they couldn't breathe while invisible. The person they heard walking just walked past them. After a few seconds, Marc turned off the devices.

"Dude, how do these things work?" asked Jash excitedly, nearly gaining the attention of the Professor.

"These are something I call ghost balls, they vibrate your molecules like there's air and..." said Marc until Kian cut him off and said, "So it can make us invisible." Marc then nodded at Kian, a bit disappointed not being able to explain the devices.

"Hold on for just a second, if you had those from the start. Why haven't you given this to us back when we were being chased by guards at the clock tower? asked Hope, confused and annoyed.

"Well, you see if we use them too many times in a day, we may become unstable and not return to physical form," answered Marc coldly to the question.

"That's not it, then why didn't you just limit how many times we could use them?" asked Isaiah, being confused with the whole situation.

"Oh that's because if I were to limit them you would try to stay invisible for longer, causing you to become unstable." said Marc before he looked down and said Sadly "And if you go past 20 seconds invisible you die and become air." shocking the others, they decided to give back the ghost balls to Marc for safe keeping. As they entered the elevator, they decided to check if there were any cameras in the elevator. Just as they started to look, they realized they already made it to the ground floor, and they decided to split up into groups. But unknown to everyone, there was a camera in the elevator, it was shaped to look like a lizard, and seemed to have followed them from the dorm to this floor.

As Isaiah, Jash, and Kian make their way to the roof, they notice how beautiful the night sky is. It couldn't beat the view from the apartment, but it was still beautiful to them. Once they got up to the roof, they started to investigate the area for any clues. They searched high and low for anything, but they couldn't find anything, or so they thought. Isaiah shouted to the other, "Guys, I think I found something!" As the two got to where Isaiah was, they saw it. It was a symbol behind where the building and hallway connected; it looked like a spiral going inwards, but in the middle, there was a singular eye. They checked what it was made of. It seemed to be a mix of multiple white powders, since they couldn't figure out what it was they took a sample of it and put it inside one of Kian's secure pockets so that Marc could test it.

With the others getting to the music room was much harder, as the cafeteria seemed to have a few guards to ensure someone wasn't trying to steal food. To get to the room faster, they had Marv make their bodies feel heavy and temporarily stun them using Hope's light abilities. After doing this to most of the guards the finally made it to the music room. As they entered, Marc asked the two guard the door after the two agreed, Marc then deployed small drones to scan the room for anything that could be related. After a few minutes, the drones picked up something and gave it to Marc, placing it in his hands. It seemed to be a ripped page; it was old, warped, and smelled like it was from an older time. Hope then took it and held it up, using his light magic to make it readable, and started to read it.

"Remember, he we must have absolute.." read Hope from the ripped page, the full page seemed to be still with one of the hooded figures they saw in the room. They tried to look for maybe a small clue in the ripped page, maybe hidden ink, or anything; they tested the paper for it. After 30 minutes of trying they decided to call it a night and regroup with the other.

After having to go through the guards again, they made it to the elevator, and after calling the other three, they finally made it as well, what the 2 groups didn't know was that they were being followed by multiple spy cameras shaped like animals. and as they continue going back to their room. A person in a hooded robe says angrily, but in a soft spoken volume, in his hidden "This may be the end of everything we built after all these years, those 6 will die. But first I must punish the idiots who left those in the areas.
