It's been an amazing few months on Royal Road, and I'm blown away by how much support The White Lich has been getting. I never expected to reach Rising Stars, so it's been a wild ride for me as an aspiring author, and I genuinely appreciate you guys for supporting the story up to this point.

  Unfortunately, I'm placing the story on hiatus. As you may have noticed, the quality and word count of my most recent chapters have dropped. Because I spent most of my time writing, I've neglected my real-life workload for a while, and it came to bite me back in the ass, resulting in rushed chapters just to keep up.

  If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

  So what happens now? I'll be taking the next two to three months off to focus on my thesis. During that time, I'll be outlining and building a backlog of a new story I have in mind. I've read about the complaints on the logic, inconsistencies, and overall issues of The White Lich down in the comments, and taking this time to plan out my new story will help it not run into the same issues.

  I'm sorry for providing a story without an end or a proper conclusion. I still have the rough outline of the current arc and next arc of The White Lich in my notes, and if you want some closure on where the story was heading, you can always ping me on my Discord.
