III

Event period: from 1 to 7 June 2016

I've finally found something. So much hope I had in the southern coastal arcs, and it turns out that they give nothing, and in the end, I end up finding the first reference to a peat bog in the ártabro arc. These are the curious things about research.

Anyway, let’s get down to business: it seems that a few years ago, they found a dagger with antennae and a votive axe on Basteira beach (in Carinho, Ortegal). I’m not sure if they appeared inside a peat bog or not, but the fact is that the record itself says that in that area there could be a peat bog formed by a flooded birch forest, since they appeared wrapped in mud and compressed and wet wood.

If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

For the time being, I’m going to keep looking in the rest of the folders to see if I can find something more concrete in any of the other arches, but, for the moment, that alone makes me thrilled, because it’s the first reference I’ve found to a case like this in Galicia. This TFG, at least, will be based on a local case!
