Grey woke to Alice shaking his shoulder.

  "Grey, they will be here soon."

  Ughhh

  He was more tired than he thought. He nodded and sat up, scrubbing his face with his hands and wiping the drool from the corners of his mouth.

  "You alive?" Alice asked in amusement as she watched Grey zombie his way into the bathroom. He nodded but still waddled without energy.

  "How many are coming?" Grey asked after splashing his face with water, wiping it with a towel, and heading back out into the living room.

  "Ah, let's see.... there are four S ranks plus me an A rank, so there is five of us total. They will split six hours each between each other and then I will be paid to just hang out with you. Best job ever."

  "What? What are your hours?"

  "Ah, my schedule is whatever I want but basically I will be here from when you wake until you sleep on days you and I aren't on duty."

  "Yea, but if you think about it that's more than 12 hours of day."

  "Nah not really, I'll be just hanging with you so my hours are whatever I want. I just want to hang out with you for the whole day so thats how it will be." She shrugged as if it couldn't be helped.

  Grey sighed and shook his head. Whatever floated her boat, it wasn't his business to tell her what to do and he didn't mind her company so who was he to say no?

  "Ah... I'm saying this as your bestie with your best interests in mind." Alice started, grabbing both of Grey's shoulders and staring him in the eye with a serious expression. They were actually both the same height so it wasn't a struggle to see eye to eye. Grey raised his eyebrows at her tone and narrowed his eyes knowing that she was usually full of nonsense.

  "You probably shouldn't sleep with any of these guys. I know you have a golden asshole and what not but to keep them from swarming you, we should keep the guards out of it. You need someone to protect you, so no more S ranks."

  Grey closed his eyes and took a deep breath, he knew she was like this so he was glad he hadn't had much expectation. He smirked and then opened his eyes and laughed. "Yea, I'll leave these guys alone. Strictly business."

  Alice smiled and stuck out her tongue, "Although, I am really curious just how powerful your ass power is and want to test if you can enchant them all, sadly.... we need some to protect you otherwise you'll be dealing with the worst of the worst obsessive assholes. Sigh... I really wanted to test it. I truly think we could have them all eating out of your....(cough) hands. Such a shame."

  "Right. Shame." Grey tried not to smirk. "Sometimes I wonder what goes on in your brain, but I also don't. I feel like it would be awful."

  "Hey! I'm not that crazy, so it wouldn't be that bad."

  Grey raised his brows and narrowed his eyes with a face of 'are you kidding me?'.

  "What?" Alice asked. Grey just snorted and shook his head and plopped back down on the sofa.

  "Food?" He rubbed his stomach that started to growl.

  "Already ordered."

  "Nice. What we eating?"

  "Chickennnnnnnnnnnn"

  "Spicy Fried?"

  "Of course!"

  Just then,

  DING DONG

  "Here are your guards. Remember, no fucking!"

  Alice went and opened the door and 4 very large and good looking men walked into the room. He looked at Alice who shook her head and crossed her arms in an X over her chest mouthing 'no fucking!'. Grey closed his eyes and swallowed hard. He didn't realize that S ranks were so damn sexy, what the hell?

  He opened his eyes and smiled at them, "Hello, I'm Grey. Nice to meet you all."

  A tall red head with a scar across his handsome tan face smirked and held his hand out, "My, my, what a beauty. You can call me whatever you want but most people call me Len. I'm at your beck and call, just say my name or you know... scream it."

  Grey's mouth twitched as he watched Alice from behind them dance around with an X repeating the words no fucking as she watched him. He shook Len's hand and nodded and looked to the next man who was a brown haired stunner with a giant ass body whose shirt worked extremely hard to cover his massive muscles. Images of what those muscles would look like wrapped around him flashed in his mind and his eyes once again found Alice, she was desperately trying not to smile and shook her head no.

  Grey smiled and shook his hand, "I'm Meric. And... it's a pleasure, Grey." His voice was so deep that Grey felt it in his gut and somewhere lower but kept looking to Alice for support.

  The next man stepped forward and grabbed Grey's hand, kissing the back of it and looking up at him with eyes that looked like they wouldn't mind devouring him. "The pleasure is mine, Grey. I'm Brek, call me for anything... And I do mean anything."

  He was blonde with gold eyes and Grey bit his lips and looked at Alice with puppy dog eyes and she shook her head hard and tried hard not to laugh but tears were coming down her face. Why are all these men so gorgeous??

  The last man looked at Grey with his black eyes and long black hair and then smiled, he stepped forward and shook his hand, tugging Grey closer and whispering in his ear. "You can call me Syn. I'll be waiting for you to call me. Be sure to call me, yea?" He moved back and looked down into Grey's eyes and licked his lips before stepping back and staring.

  Grey widened his eyes, pleadingly, and looked at Alice who still shook her head no but had her hands over her mouth trying not to lose her shit. Grey nodded and looked down, his mouth also twitching as he tried to suppress his laughter and his lust and lifted his face to use his "service smile" And nod at the men.

  "I look forward to working with you all."

  And with that Alice clapped her hands, her smirk was so wide it practically took up her whole face.

  "Alright! That's it for intros, FUCK OFF now!"

  "Ah, Alice, you're so mean. Not giving us time to get to know Grey and kicking us out. No fair!"

  "Who cares! Out with you now! Grey and I are going to eat make yourself scarce."

  They sighed and nodded, all turning to look at Grey with regret before leaving the apartment. Grey watched them go with regret and then turned to Alice who was on the verge of laughing.

  "No fucking, Grey. No means no."

  Grey groaned and then looked at Alice with tears in his eyes, "Alice, you didn't tell me there was a buffet coming. How could you lay such a spread before a starving man! How am I supposed to hold back??"

  This time Alice busted out laughing. "I know! Your face!" She laughed harder and Grey ended up joining her, the situation was so absurd. "Your face was so priceless as you tried so hard not to drool! You wanted to jump their bones! I was dying. It was so hard not to laugh, ah fuck so hard!"

  "Ugh, I want something else that would definitely be nice and hard.... ahhh man.. all of them would be so... so .."

  "No! You must not give into temptation, my friend! Listen to me, you shall not fuck the guards. Repeat after me! I shall not fuck the guards! Say it!"

  "I shall not fuck the guards even though they are delicious."

  "Self control friend. I know it's hard, but I believe in you."

  "All those flavors. Sigh... never knew life would be this hard."

  Alice started laughing more and then the door bell rang again.

  DING DONG

  "Food." They both said with smiles on their face.

  "Yea, but is it food for the stomach or food for the soul, my soul.. no my hole, not my mouth."

  "Ah! No! It's for your stomach you hoe bag! Calm your horniess, we need to actually eat food for our stomachs."

  Grey sighed, "Fine. But it's such a shame."

  "Right. Shame." Alice repeated his early words with a smile and opened the door and got the food from one of the guards that tried to come in too but she shut them down and shut the door with an evil laugh.

  "Let's eat chicken."

  Grey sat down with a sad face.

  Alice laughed and shook her head, "It's not like I want to cock block but I think it's just smarter considering what has already happened. Like, if you want to do it, I won't stop you but I feel like you'll just end up adding an obsessed S rank to your watchlist. Pain in the ass, right?"

  Grey frowned at her words as he thought back to his earlier confrontation with Talen and Darren, he sighed and nodded. There was no use in arguing, she was indeed right about this. He wouldn't make that mistake again.

  He was an idiot that was still new to this world so he didn't expect for all the S ranks to be obsessive even over one night stands without any purification involved. Honestly, he was extremely surprised that he even had to deal with someone like Talen who devoured people constantly. He was counting on his type to keep moving after one night but instead he had to deal with his clingy ass the next day. So embarrassing.

  Sure, the sex was amazing. No it was the best he had ever experienced in his life including the life from his original world. He would have been down to being fuck buddies but he lived where he worked and didn't want to add more drama to the life he had since he already fucked up with his unique frequency. Not that he would have been able to cover that up like his rank but he could at least lessen the new drama that came to him.

  He truly thought this wouldn't be an issue. Well... lesson learned. He would no longer eat where he worked and lived. If he wanted to get some action he would find it outside of this little bubble. Speaking of...

  "Hey... I just realized I never asked this, but, will I be able to leave this compound to go outside? I mean I knew it was fine the first day since I had to go shopping and whatnot but if I want to just go out say... to a civilian bar, can I?"

  "Hm? Yea, why not? Most people just stay in the compound and go to the bar and restaurants for Yin and Yangs but there isn't a rule that says we need to stay here. It's just more convenient since everything is within walking distance and you don't have to worry about hurting civilians. Of course, Yins don't have that problem but kidnappings are a issue for high ranks so they tend to stay too but... you would probably be fine. Of course, you would be with your guards regardless."

  "What if I wanted to go for a hookup?"

  "Then go for it. The guards are going to hear everything anyway so put on a show!" Alice laughed when his mouth dropped open at that fact. He hadn't thought that far. And it honestly, wasn't that big of a deal. He shrugged, as long as he couldn't see them he would just pretend they weren't there and that they didn't hear.

  "Good to know."

  "Yea, just remember "Say no to guards.""

  "Right. I'll remember."

  "Good boy."

  Grey just shook his head and then shoved a piece of chicken in her mouth, he didn't want to hear any more. She was right, but he didn't want to hear it right now.

  The next morning, Grey headed to the Association with Meric in tow and headed toward the lobby receptionist.

  "I'm supposed to check in for duty today." Grey spoke to the man at the desk, he was small and cute with a puppy vibe. He smiled brightly at Grey and then lit up when he noticed Meric come up behind him.

  "Meric! What are you doing here?"

  Meric smiled and then glanced and Grey, gesturing towards him as he answered the little receptionist. "I'm his escort today. This is Grey Acero and he is here for his first day of duty."

  "Escort?" The little man frowned and then looked at Grey and then down at his papers, "Oh! So you're the unique C ranker! I get it. Ok! Please head to the 5th floor, room 513 for the mission breakdown. Ah and this is your ID."

  He handed a silver card, an actual card made of a silver metal, to Grey that lit up with LED looking lights the moment it touched his skin and showed his information before disappearing again. Meric tapped his shoulder and then jerked his head toward the elevators and Grey nodded and thanked the receptionist.

  Once inside, Meric pressed the button for the 5th floor.

  "Nervous?" Meric asked, his voice was so deep that Grey didn't know a voice could be felt so strongly. He smiled and glanced up at Meric, trying not to drool over the handsome bear like man.

  "Nah, I guess my brain is still in sleep mode since I don't really feel anything at this moment." Or in lust mode, he shrugged in his mind. Who can think properly with this hot bear beside them?

  Meric nodded and smirked, "Well, don't worry. They usually send trainees to the lowest level gates so that they can get a feel for them before sending them to anywhere too dangerous."

  Once he heard that, Grey frowned. He kept forgetting this world was plagued by gates and that monsters actually poured from them, killing people and destroying cities like it was nothing. Right, humans weren't the only things dangerous in this shitty world. Sigh, he really wanted to punch his friend. So so bad. Just one time, right in the mouth.

  He sighed, no use is panicking or crying over his situation. It wasn't going to change and there was no one who could help him so he just had to deal and make the best out of shit. The bright side, he wasn't a Yang so he didn't have to fight the monsters himself. He just had to deal with the human monsters, which considering he lucked out with his OP Yin ability, he didn't need to worry much about that either.

  There wasn't a Yang in the world that would be dangerous to him, well unless they poisoned his food or something. Then... he would probably be fucked but he didn't think Yangs were prone towards that but then again considering all the torment they put the Main character through in the story he couldn't really rule anything out. Sigh, basically he just needed to keep his guard up always.

  The higher the rank the more toxic and obsessive the Yangs tended to be. That was just their setup. Shitty, of course, but this was a toxic story and my friend lovingly put a lot of thought into making them super psychotic. Thanks friend. Thanks for ruining this world.

  Well he wasn't the main or side character in the story so he didn't need to worry about those fuckers, he just had to deal with his own issues. He thought he had gotten rid of one pain in the ass but that fucker keeps showing up and haunting like some damn ghost. He also didn't think he would have to deal with a playboy and yet here he was, dealing with two pain the asses. He hoped they would lose interest and move on soon since he rejected them but he couldn't understand their way of thinking.

  They made it to the conference room and about 30 or so people were already there. A tall man with scars and tattoos all over stepped forward and welcomed him.

  "Hello, I'm B rank Yang Falcon, the leader of this mission today, you must be Grey right?"

  Grey nodded and Falcon looked towards Meric, "I'm his escort, I'm assuming you know his situation?"

  "Yes, I've been briefed. I'll mark you as a noncombatant and as Grey's shadow."

  "Thanks." Meric rumbled and then grabbed Grey's shoulders and steered him towards and chair and pulled a chair up to sit directly behind him.

  "Great, looks like everyone is here so let's start the briefing."

  Falcon walked up to the front and everyone immediately filled the seats around the table and turned off the lights as the projector showed images and information of the gate that they were sending us to. It was an F rank gate that had poison plant like monsters but they were slow moving and rated F since their only strength was their poison that could cause paralysis if inhaled but once they were set on fire, they died easily.

  The briefing mostly spent time assigning positions to the Yangs and letting the Yins know who they were in charge of purifying. Grey was a backup, only to be used in the most serious of emergencies because of his unique frequency. With his compatibility rate being so high with all of the Yangs, they were afraid of cases of purification addiction breaking out with those becoming obsessed even with only one session. It would be such a satisfying experience many would fight for it.

  They were trying to keep it to the bare minimum if they could. They couldn't stop everyone but they could try to contain it from the start and let him purify only those in danger of rampage. Those wouldn't remember much anyway and would be so out of it that the chance of addiction would be low since it was unlikely they would remember such an experience.

  Once everything was explained, the lights turned on and everyone stood up and headed towards the back of the room. There, Yangs that could "teleport" were setup and waiting ready to move people to the gate site.

  Since Grey's world didn't have anything like this, he found that his heart started pounding at the thought of being teleported somewhere in a blink of an eye. Something that he had only ever read about in book or comics, something that was out of common sense and so fantastic that he couldn't wrap his brain around it. But still, he was excited. Who wouldn't be excited to experience something so crazy?

  When it was his turn he tried not to shake as he stretched his hand out towards the Yang but Meric grabbed his shoulder and pulled him back, wrapping his arm around his waist and then stretching his hand out for the Yang. When Grey raised his brow in question, "It's so we don't get separated."

  Once Grey was tightly pulled against Meric's chest, he watched as the Yang frowned but grabbed Meric's hand and then a rush of Black energy swallowed them, completely filling Grey's vision, and then disappeared just as quickly. When Grey glanced around he realized he was outside and a very large white circle like slit was glowing and twisting in the air before him. This was the gate site, a hill outside of a farm with a forest backing it. The farmers that discovered it were standing nearby talking to a few people in suits as they watched the Yin and Yangs appear one by one.

  Meric released Grey and then grabbed his wrist and lead him towards the large tent that had a stalls setup and large cots and tables filled with snacks, drinks and bottles filled with liquid that helped heal wounds. He pulled Grey into the tent and then set him up in a chair and then settled in one himself, leaning back and handing him a snack and a drink while he pulled a book from the bag he had been carrying.

  Grey looked down at the snacks in his hands and then at the book Meric was holding and tilted his head. Being S rank coming to an F rank gate was probably tedious and boring. Grey smirked and then pulled out his phone, trying to find something he could read since he probably wasn't going to be doing much. Before he could start others began to pile into the tent and stared at Grey.

  "You're that new unique Yin everyone is talking about, aren't you?" A woman with short pink hair and gold eyes, walked over toward him and Grey nodded and before he could introduce himself another woman with Jade green hair and light pink eyes pulled up a chair next to him and smiled, "You're Grey, right?"

  When he nodded again with eyes widened in shock, she laughed. "Alice doesn't stop talking about her bestie."

  It clicked in Grey's mind, "Liz?"

  When she bit her lips smiling and nodded, Grey smiled back. "I'm glad to meet you. Are you feeling better now? Alice had been really worried."

  Liz nodded, "Yea, I told her she didn't have to come since it was barely a scratch but whenever a Yin is injured we are immediately sent to the hospital for treatment."

  "Interesting. But I'm glad it wasn't anything to worry about."

  "Thanks. So this is your first gate?"

  "Yep. Wait... aren't you A rank? And aren't you already paired? Why are you here?"

  Liz laughed and pointed to the woman with pink hair who was sitting quietly and listening to them. "I'm here as an instructor. I have to grade a few Yins for their final lesson and then they are official."

  "Ah! That makes sense."

  "Oh, by the way, this is Kit. She is B rank."

  "Yo! Nice to meet ya!"

  "Same to you too."

  "Yea, I've heard loads from Alice and Liz about you so I'm excited to work with you."

  Grey frowned and looked at Liz who shrugged her shoulders. "I hope it wasn't anything.... weird."

  Liz and Kit busted out laughing. "Alice is weird but we have only heard things about how funny and cool you are. Nothing strange, promise!" Liz answered.

  Grey looked at Meric who was staring at the group of Yins and smirked, "I've heard that I'm not allowed to fuck you even if you seduce me. But honestly, I've been hoping you would so we could."

  Grey face palmed and shook his head, "What exactly did Alice say?"

  "Alice said if we tried to hit on you she would cut our dicks off and then dip them in gold, string them up and wear them as a necklace. She said you were off limits even if you tried to seduce us. It made me think that perhaps you were the type that was really good at seducing, but I have yet to see it in action. But just in case you were wondering, I welcome it. Anytime."

  Liz cackled loudly and smacked Grey's back at his face with his mouth open in shock, "Honestly, that doesn't even surprise me but it does make me question her sense of fashion. Can't say I'd wear a dick necklace, but everyone has their own taste.

  That just made her laugh louder, "Stop, I can't breath!"

  "Well... that is a lot tamer than what I assumed she would say. I mean, you never know what insane thing will come out of her mouth."

  "I know, right? That's one of the reasons I love her. I never stop laughing. She's wonderful, isn't she?" Liz smiled brightly with such a warm smile that Grey went blank and then returned her smile causing everyone in the room to suck in a breath at the pure beauty of the smile.

  "Fuck." Meric grumbled and turned away, scrubbing a hand over his face.

  Liz opened her mouth and then threw her arms around Grey and hugged him. "Oh my god, you are the most beautiful person I have ever seen in my life when you smile! Oh my god, my heart is pounding so hard. Crazy!"

  Grey immediately went emotionless and frowned, "Ugh, sorry?"

  "No! It was beautiful! But be careful! You're so beautiful people will kidnap you!"

  "Agreed. Definitely be careful."

  Grey just shook his head at the woman and then turned to look at Meric. He turned back and looked at Grey in the face before shaking his head and picking his book back up.

  "It's about to get noisy." Was all he said as he opened the book.

  "Ah! That means the Yangs are coming for purification. Kit, get ready."

  "Okkkkkkkkk" Both Kit and Liz stood up and headed for the stalls. Grey watched as the other Yins soon stood and made their way over to their own stalls and then the Yangs began pouring out of the gates and filling into the tent.
