Everyone breathes a sigh of relief... Blade cautiously moves close to him, then kneels down.
Blade: This is what an Angel looks like?
Robert: Uh, they can look like anyone. That's what's gonna make this difficult. We were lucky with this guy, I knew him enough to hear where he'd want to stay, if he was ever banished.
Blade: I... can't do this.
Dylan runs his hands over his own arm, healing the wounds as he goes with a soft golden light.
Dylan: Well, actually it's too late. You've seen too much, and now you've gotta come along, or die.
Blade's eyes widen. Robert, leaning, gently explains to Dylan, while motioning his hands upward.
Robert: Ascend, you mean, Dylan, Ascend.
Dylan: (to Blade) Come along, or Ascend. (to Robert) There, is that better?
Robert: Hm, no, it still sounded violent coming from you.
Dylan: I can't help that! I'm telling her exactly the way you're telling me to.
Robert: No here, watch this.
Robert walks over the Rogue Angel's corpse, and sits on his knees to speak, now level with Blade.
Robert: Come with us, so you won't have to Ascend.
Dylan: Oh, that was just as bad...

Blade: No, it wasn't. I didn't feel threatened by him.
Robert makes a bragging smile at Dylan. Robert tries to stand up, but slips on the blood. He falls into the corpse, and scrambles to get off quickly, but stands up, and tries to play it off coolly. His suit, however, is covered in blood. He notices something, on the corpse. The Rogue Angel's jacket is opened, and Robert finds a note inside.
Dylan: What is that?
Robert: A note. He was supposed to meet someone, it looks like.
Robert folds it up again, and turns to face them, holding it.
Robert: I'm going to see who it was.
Blade: I don't think that's very smart. Who knows who he was planning to meet? They could be more powerful than you.
Robert: (laughs heartily) Yes, I'm sure.
Dylan: Oh, you've never been anything special, Robert. Your will's as strong as mine.
Robert: Which, has never really been tested. In front of me, at least.
Dylan: You saw me lift a car! Twice!
Robert: That's not worth much, if we're going after people like Del, here.
Dylan: Well, hopefully, this guy's a special case. I don't want to see you hurt.
Robert: Really? You mean it?
Dylan: Yeah, you're my ticket back into the realm.
Robert:...Not 'cause you're my friend?
Dylan: No, the ticket thing.
Robert: Oh. Okay.
Dylan: Hey--don't get all choked up about it... you knew what this was.
Robert: The heck I did! All this time, I thought we were friends. That was the whole reason I got you into the realm. Didn't you realize that?
Dylan shakes his head.
Dylan: Sorry.
Robert looks down.
Robert: That's terrible, Dylan. I didn't know.
Blade offers another opinion.
Blade: You guys still have something to do. If I understand correctly, there are innocent people in danger, because of something you two did. You can't just forget about that. I believe you have to be responsible for your actions, no matter what realm you're from.
Dylan interrupts with a very loud noise.
Dylan: Lol! Lol! Lol!
It sounds a bit like a walrus, because he's pronouncing it, instead of spelling it out.
Dylan: I'm sorry, you must have missed a few things. There isn't as much surveillance as you'd expect. You're pretty much free to do what you want, here.
Dylan: I guess there's a reason why Del didn't want to come back.
Blade: And I'd bet most of the others are gonna feel that way too?
Robert: Man, I hope not.
Robert's jolts. He takes Dylan down to another room.
Robert: Blade killed a Rogue Angel. I've never heard of that happening. Either she's something special, or we're bound to a mortal lifespan. Dylan, we've gotta be careful. Who knows what happens if we die, and have no place to go?
Dylan grits his teeth, as if he's been caught with a grievous crime.
Robert: Just let me talk to this person from the note. I think this'll help.
