Chapter 1- Seccond Chances!

  Tell me something, and pese, be honest, do you believe in seccond chances?

  If your answer is no, than i don't bme you, for a time, i didn't believe in it either, at least not until now.

  But, where are my manners, my name is Roxy, Roxy Heart, i live in Megacity-13, i lived a pretty normal life, with normal parents and i had normal friends.

  That's when i met Stel Wester, the most popur girl in school, i kinda had a crush on her for quite some time now, yes i am bi-sexual, but i usually am fond of other girls.

  She had this aura that screamed, "You are either worth my time or you weren't"

  Eventually, we started dating, which was great, out of all the students in school, she chose me, so i would do everything in my power to make her happy.

  We had been together for over 7 months, which is pretty decent if you ask me, and although she was distant at times, i knew she cared.....

  ...That's when all hell broke loose!

  The Mutos Beasts, Monsters from another dimension that spawn from mysterious portals all over the world, not even mankind's most powerfull weapons could destroy them.

  Then, an amazing thing happened, people all over the world began to awaken the power to morph into power beast-like forms, with this, we were able to fight back, not to mention the resources the Mutos Beasts left behind were helpful for cultivation, with that, the Beast Hero Syndicate was founded.

  Both me and Stel awakened at the same time, i awakened a Samander form, while Stel awakened a Octopus form.

  Stel changed after that event, she became more cold-hearted, mainly to those who could not Awaken, i tried to get her to see reason but all it did was make her more angry.

  "Who the fuck said you could speak?" was a line she would use often, but despite all of it, i still loved her, i even helped her cultivate by sharing some of my monster cores with her, she soon broke through to Knight-Rank!

  That's when the incident happened....

  It was during a battle against mechanical monsters known as Time Golems, led by a Time Golem King, Me, Stel, and 2 others were overwhelmed, i was able to kill two of the Time Golems, but the leader was much stronger, Stel had used up all of her HP potions, but i still had two left.

  i was ready to kill the leader until i felt a sharp pain in my chest!

  I looked to find a single tentecle had pierced my body, i turned to find Stel being the one responsible.

  "Stel, why?" i asked.

  "Survival of the fittest, i need you HP potions to deal the final blow..." she said with a sneer.

  "Why...why didn't you just ask?" i said weakly, the color leaving my body.

  "Roxy, the only reason i even dated you was because i felt sorry for you, you would follow me all the time until you acutally got the courage to ask me out, now that i'm an Awakened, i don't need you anymore..." Stel said coldly, "I never loved you Roxy, you were just another pair of tits to me."

  And with that, she pushed me to the ground and left me to bleed to death..

  Even the Time Golem King was astounded, "How could humans be so cruel?" he thought.

  I slowly closed my eyes, a single teardrop fell as Stel and the others finished off the Time Golem King.

  Stel, the woman i gave my everything for, stabbed me in the back, and didn't even bat an eye.

  As the world goes dark, i wonder, did i waste my entire life chasing a love that wasn't real?
