The woman, majestic and dominating, levitated up slowly.
Only then could Arther notice a pitch-black sword sheathed in the same pitch-black void—it exuded an aura of superiority by itself.
The lady landed on the balcony where Arther stood alongside Butler Harin Lovarno.
“Greetings, young lady,” Butler Harin Lovarno formally greeted her respectfully.
“Greetings, young lord Cristus,” the young lady nodded slightly toward the butler, then greeted Arther.
The young lady seemed cold, her steel-like eyes unchanging, but she raised an eyebrow while looking at Arther—as if confused to see a rabbit still alive in the mouth of a tiger.
“Young lord has survived the strayfish parasite infection. The cause of this is unknown, and the lord recovered only fourteen minutes ago,” Butler Harin Lovarno said, noticing the confusion on her face and understanding what she was thinking.
The young lady faintly revealed a hint of surprise—intentional or not.
“I need to account for something. The young lord has violated an imperial law and rule of the Imperial Family of Oriolel,” she said coldly, though the faint surprise still lingered on her face.

Arther’s face changed. His mouth twisted slightly to the left, his eyes twitching. “What? What are you saying?” He looked toward Butler Harin Lovarno for an explanation.
Butler Harin Lovarno didn’t intervene—his face grim and silent, his head lowered.
“The 7th Law of the Imperial Palace of Oriolel: *Do not pry into non-public military affairs above your authority, nor use higher authority to pry into military non-public affairs*,” the young lady said coldly.
Arther, now clearly understanding the situation, calmed himself. His gaze turned to Butler Harin Lovarno, who had revealed the military training by removing a barrier set by the military.
Butler Harin Lovarno stayed silent. He had already calculated some things in advance and decided to remain quiet.
*First,* the young lord seems to have lost all his memory of magic.
*Second,* even if I agree he has almost no use for our army on the battlefield—with the molten gene, it’s unsure if he can even use it for twenty minutes straight without dying, as it burns the one to grant greater power.
*Third,* with almost all his memory lost, leaving only some basic ability to communicate—it’s certain he cannot be a commander either, as it requires high education in magic, formations, arrays, curses, and more.
*Fourth,* he cannot be educated again with children either. Under the 2nd Law, he is not eligible for education in children’s institutions. Though he seems mature, he is extremely curious... the only way now is to let him prove himself—or die.
*Fifth,* I cannot defend him, as he’s already seen as trash in the eyes of the Monarch himself. It’s far harder for him to escape punishment; yet this is better than being expelled from the family and dying on the streets out of thirst and hunger.
*Young master, please forgive this servant... I had no intention of testing you, but I needed to confirm whether I am serving a lord or a headless bear,* Harin Lovarno sighed in his heart.
“You are punishable under the 7th Law of the Imperial Palace of Oriolel. You must meet the Patriarch now! Get to the courtroom within three minutes!” the young lady declared coldly, indifferent to her previous respectful greeting—as if facing a coward and a criminal.
Her presence alone commanded Arther.
*What is the punishment even?* Arther asked in his heart, trying to guess.
“????! ??????! ???? ?????? ??????????????????!” a deafening shout came from the young lady.
