Chaos Incarnate

The palace was filled with the screams of countless skinned bodies, all begging for the mercy of death as insects ate them alive.

Yellow flames erupted from the ground, burning not only flesh but the very souls of fallen warriors—harpies, minotaurs, and cyclopes chained above the eruptions.

Pillars made from the living limbs of ancient monsters and dragons were encased in bone and corrupted emeralds.

Heads, with spines still attached, hung from the ceiling—gouged eyes staring into the endless suffering with hollow emptiness.

"Arrrgghhhh!" a human mage screamed as Hinima's skeletal claws tore into their face.

"Sorry, sorry… Forgot I had poison magic on my claws," a smirk tugged at his lips. "Now scream for me, mortal!" His claws dug deeper, ripping the flesh from their face. An agonizing scream filled the palace.

"Haha… Ahahahah! Yes! That's what I like to hear!"

He threw the skin aside. His hands gripped the mage's jaw, tearing it open. Blood erupted from their mouth, spraying across his face and the ground. Steam rose from the boiling blood on the floor.

"At least you died, my friend! Happy ending! Ahahahaha!" His manic laughter echoed through the palace.

  "Shatter…"

The main gates of the palace exploded into pieces, scorched with blazing dark-green color.

A demon-shaped creature stepped through, his skin the color of moonstone, ink-black pupils floating within white eyes. Two large grey horns curved from above his pointed ears down toward his jaw. His hands were clasped behind his back as his eyes observed Hinima. "The same crimson form and smell of death… You haven't changed a bit."

His pants, woven from finger bones, rustled softly. Long black ribbons swayed in the air as he walked forward, muscles tensed beneath his form.

"Ahhhaha! Audience! I welcome you, our newest member! The Eye! Ahahaha! Welcome to the Palace of Chaos!"

"Hinima… too loud… as always, the chaotic chaos."

Hinima's grin widened. He gripped The Eye's shoulder.

"Make me do something! Use that immense power to spread chaos! With that ink of yours… Force me to do something chaotic! Please!"

"My power is not something to waste on a bloodthirsty creature for chaos." He walked past Hinima, observing the palace. "The skinned monsters… They weren't here before."

"Did a bit of decorating! You like it!?" Hinima burst into manic laughter. "So sad you missed their screams! Hehahahahah!"

  Lake of Hatred

"Oh… Shall this be the end of you, my little seal? Is the world… finally shattering? Mhehehehehe…" Binder laughed. His pupil-less green-crimson eyes darted toward the surface.

"A little hybrid… A powerful centaur… Both unique and very, very delicious… Their despair shall be my feast in the Finale…"

His burnt hands brushed against the chains around his wrists.

"My beautiful shackles… All of you will be in tatters, like the bodies on the battlefield…"

  Heavens — Prison of Light

The prison of Heavens was built from white opals, diamonds, and white alabaster. Golden trees of light shimmered alongside floating white flames within the cell.

"Hehahaha… Angels of True Light… you are all doomed to be ash by my hands. I, Madness King, will drown you in insanity! None of you will—!"

Before he could finish, three spears of light pierced through his chest. Yellow blood erupted from the wounds, burning the ground of Heavens and melting the opals on contact.

A scream of pleasure tore through his throat.

"Ahh! Yes! Hurt me more! Hurt me from a distance! My blood can erase your existence, pathetic creatures!"

"Our god will end you once the chains break. Do not mock the Light, creature of chaos," the Angel guardian whispered with measured tone.

"Once I am free… I won't even notice your existence! Only ones that matter are outside of Heavens! Hehahaha!" Madness King's arms thrashed in rage, gripping the light chains with his palms. Steam rose as his skin burned upon contact. "Yes! The pain! I love this! More! MORE!" Madness King's grin widened.

His screams filled the prison as the Angel guardians stepped back in fear. Their grips tightened on their spears, teeth gritted, wings faltering at their backs.

They eyed each other. A small nod as the other Angel began to run toward the exit doors of the prison.

"We should call the generals to put this abomination in place! Now!"

Madness King laughed silently. The light chain rustling softly with each movement.

  "The Grand Library… I'm coming for you…"
