Hello hello hello everybody!

  I hope everyone has been having a great 2026 so far! As you can no doubt guess (thanks to the very obvious title of this post) this is an announcement to let you know that Book 1: Secrets, Serpents, and Superpowers will be getting stubbed from Royalroad in just over a month on March 26th in order to prepare for the full release in April.

  For those of you who haven’t gotten to read through book 1 yet, well you still have a whole month of time to do so and I promise I won’t be pulling the chapters until the morning of March 26th, so hopefully this is more than enough notice for everyone to be prepared.

  All versions book 1: ebook, print, and audio, will be released on April 28th with preorder links going live around the date of the stubbing. Johnathan McClain is already hard at work recording the audiobook and I think his energy and narration style is such a perfect fit for this series that I feel lucky to get him as the narrator. I am so beyond excited for this full release and cannot even begin to thank all of you for supporting the story so far.

  Book 4 is currently in the middle of planning stages and I am currently expecting to start posting those chapters here on RR around the release of book 1, however please note that the release schedule will more than likely get dropped to one chapter a week to give me space to work on my other projects including another serial story I am planning on releasing starting in April as well.

  And.... hmm well that's it, anything else I write here is mostly just to fill out those 500 necessary words for a chapter to get posted so uh.... yeah, that's what I'm doing. Rambling.   Words words words words word. Seriously it's just words. There's nothing secret in here. Nothing at all. Not even the new name that Jon is going to go by when book 4 is under way. You know, the name he'd take now that he's also an Augment with a powerset that I promise is equal parts fun and broken because why wouldn't I give Nate's friend something perfectly suited to fit in with Loophole and his crew. Hmmm maybe that's too much of a hint.... or maybe not. Don't worry too much about it. It's just some words hidden at the bottom of this announcement that isn't meant to be serious.... or is it? Nah... probably not. That would be a weird way to reveal things if you ask me. Okay, I think I've hit the required word count now. Bye!
