Season 3: Catpurr 3: GREETINGS!

  Season 3: Catpurr 3: GREETINGS!

Observing Adam's coffin thrashing around madly, Junith scowled as she held a hammer and stake in her hands. It was time. The one opportunity that Junith has to destroy Adam when he was most vulnerable.

“Our lives would be so much better if you all would just let me stake him!” Junith yelled, pointing her sharpened piece of wood at Dominica and Eli who blocked her path.

“Our duty is to the apostle of the shadow one, continue to bare your fangs at the Lord and I will put you down!” Dominica hissed, pulling out a whip as Ellie stood between the pair shaking like a leaf.

“Traitor, you turn away from Voltrain’s light, and you dare! Have the gall to draw arms upon a sister of battle?” Junith spat, dropping her stake and drawing her sword. “I'll cut out your tongue!”

“So blinded by the light you can't even see the shadows of his corruption,” Dominica replied, stepping forward only to be blocked by Ellie.

“Uhm! M-maybe, can we just calm down and not kill each other?!” Ellie said, attempting to placate both parties at each other's throats.

“NO!” Junith and Dominica yelled in unison.

“Geeze, ya know if you two make out it would definitely alleviate some of this awkward tension,” Liza chimed in, causing everyone to stare at the pink-haired cat girl. “What?”

“Does anything of useful repute ever spew from the hole on your face you call a mouth?!” Junith spat.

Liza shrugged and turned, going back to arranging a bunch of skeleton cats together.

“You are lucky that Lord Adam requires you for his ritual, if you weren't so imperative to his plans, I'd have smited you as the heretic you are,” Dominica spat, pointing at Junith.

Junith froze, the cat girl stunned from the words that assaulted her heart.

“Uh oh,” Liza chuckled, throwing a leg bone at Junith’s head. “I think you broke her.”

“H-heretic? Me? HERETIC!” Junith yelled, her eyes bulging, face red, fur spiked as her tail swished angrily. The ex-paladin leapt, charging forward with claws outstretched only to be yanked by the tail and pulled back by Redfield. “Stop! You Curseed undead! Let me at her! Let me at her!”

Redfield's armored hands wrapped around the paladin’s body.

“I thought you two had a truce to stop trying to kill each other?” Red asked, holding the cat girl tightly who began to violently vibrate with purple energy.

Fortunately, Red had the answer to the Junith's potential outburst.

A rag of formulaic chloroform mixed with darkened soil from the dungeon, a countermeasure to put the paladin quickly down.

“Uhm… guys… quick question, but where is Adam?” Ellie piped in, turning everyone's attention to the now open coffin.

At six feet with long silky red hair, muscular physique, and stark naked frame, Adam frowned as he eyed the band of adventurers before him.

“So… did anyone else see that guy just appear?”

“Okay, my eyes didn't deceive me, that guy just walked out of that wall right?” A warrior with a longsword said.

“Y-yeah, do you think it's a monster?” A woman wearing the stench and trappings of a cleric said, pointing at Adam who was obscured by the darkness of the tunnel.

Thanks to Dungeon, he was able to make it to the surface relatively easy. Unfortunately, this was as close as the core could open up a tunnel without the rest of the dungeon being affected.

Still… it wasn't all bad as Adam stared at his prey.

“You gaze upon my naked splendor and call me monstrous, don't you think that's rude?” Adam said, his eyes glowing gold under the shadows that sent the party of humans back.

“It talked, maybe it's an adventurer?”

“Do those glowing eyes look human to you?”

“W-well let me illuminate him then.”

The cleric casted a spell, chasing the shadows away with a shining light to reveal Adam in all his naked glory.

“Go on, bask in my radiance,” Adam smirked, causing the women to go flush i the face.

“O-oh my!” The cleric exclaimed while the warrior had a different tone.

  “It's a demi-human!”

Without a moment to waste the lead warrior charged, raising his violent tool of war and slashing at Adam who merely raised his hand.

“Hm…” Adam let out, observing the adventurer as he caught the steel with his bare hand. “What size clothes are you?”

“Uh… large?” The warrior let out while attempting to wrestle his weapon away from Adam.

“You'll do,” Adam smiled before decapitating the warrior in one slash of his hand to the man's neck.

Screams ensued, the cleric fleeing with her cohort, following suit as Adam whistled to himself and dressed in his new clothes.

“That! That's the one! That's the one right there!” The cleric from before screamed as she pointed Adam out to the crowd of sentries guarding the dungeon entrance. “He's even wearing Gerlat’s' shirt!”

Adam whistled, taking in the cold, brisk air and basking in the light of the moon as dozens of adventurers came out from their encampment to check on the commotion.

He wiggled his nose, long tail swishing back and forth as a sinister smile descended on his face.

“Greetings!” Adam let out as he caught an arrow with his hand and threw it back at his assailant who let out a scream. “Welcome to my humble home!”

  “Its a demi-human!”

  “One of those cat-eared freaks!”

“Alert the duchess! Send for the FAP agents!”

“Wait, did he say his home?”

The crowd began to stir, dozens of guards and adventurers moving in unison as a multitude of lights began to beam down on Adam and the entrance of his bright pink home.

“Can anyone point me in the direction of a bar?” Adam asked, completely unperturbed at the sight of dozens of guards charging in his direction.

Instead of the answers he sought, Adam was greeted by pitchforks and blades, the crowd moving against him like a tide of hate that wanted him dead.

  Ah, its always the same.

Adam sighed before slicking back his long hair and brandishing a wide insidious smile.

“Fine then, I suppose I'll use you lot for entertainment,” Adam said before the soil beneath his feet broke from the force of his movement and he vanished from the sight of all those present..
