Volume 10. Chapter 62: First, I Have To Break Her Mind, And Shatter Her Soul! (Chapter 963)

Chapter 62: First, I Have To Break Her Mind, And Shatter Her Soul!

Since Domains are no longer a thing, Higher Beings were more free to be whatever they wanted to be. Oddly, this made it so that the vast majority of Higher Beings… were good people by default.

And I mean it, too. Not counting our family, the most sane and good-hearted Higher Being of the past (before it was all reset) would… be considered somewhat of a bad person these days.

However, with the lack of Domains, it meant that the evil ones were really, really awful. And now I stand here, looking at Eternanel, fully willing to commit an absolutely horrid crime. Even Faith will shun me for this…

Narrator Vulely: “Hey, place your hands behind your back.” I nonchalantly ordered.

  Eternanel: “Alright.” She instantly agreed.

  Narrator Vulely: “…”

Just as she said… Eternanel was complaint. After all, she was beyond weak at the moment. I could kill her right now, but the Mana woman informed me that she would live, regardless of what I do to her, so it’d be pointless.

Eternanel: “Now then, why hold me like this? I don’t recall ever being in this kind of situation before, held like a hostage…” She asked with an interested tone.

The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

Narrator Vulely: “Eternanel, for us, our only weakness is our family. Despite what you’ve done, what you plan to repeat… I see you as family.” I replied, not really answering her question.

  Eternanel: “…”

Narrator Vulely: “As such, I have to restrain you. Otherwise… you’d likely kill yourself in a manner that I wouldn’t be able to stop nor save you from.” I continued, showing a smile that she couldn’t see with her own eyes, so I also made sure that my tone reflected that smile instead.

At this, Eternanel started to struggle, but, just like me killing her, it was a pointless thing to do. I waited for her to calm down, patiently. She didn’t know what I was planning on doing, the weight of it… but I did. It was a cruel act, one that, if I was ever tried for, I would be rightfully executed with applause.

Thankfully, none of those uppity Home judges are present, so my crime will surely go unpunished. The mental torment I’ll receive from this… will be definitely more than enough to repent for my next actions.

Narrator Vulely: “You’re a horrible mother, and family member, Eternanel. You have greatly looked down on us, and it will be your most regretted mistake, ever.” I say with an ominous tone.

Eternanel: “I already regret this, all of it. What more could you inform me of, that would cause me even further remorse and pain?” She replied with a sigh, seemingly no longer curious about what I was about to say.

Narrator Vulely: “Our family has already reached the pinnacle of power, with Celia being the top of the timeline.” I reply with a leading tone.

Eternanel: “I am aware of that, yes. Though, I disagree with your assessment quite a bit. They’re strong, but I was still able to kill them. This means that there is room for improvement.” She lectured with an oddly stern tone.

Narrator Vulely: “Wrong. You’re deluding yourself. Eternanel… our family, all fighting against you together, or even just a few of them attacking… is enough to kill even you. Have you truly not noticed this truth at all?” I explain with a serious, scolding tone.

  Eternanel: “…”
