Chapter 74: The System Finally Gets Fixed.

  With Runey back on the job, Celia was free to… get distracted, which was something that the other wives and I focused heavily on. While she is probably the greatest matchmaker in history, Celia is supposed to be living for herself now, and not random strangers.

  Unfortunately, Celia’s addiction instantly flared up, and she wouldn’t stop talking about matchmaking, or finding her single daughters, such as June, lovers, etc. Even now, she was still being treated, and I just have to hope that Celia will forget that high. Though, I left that to the rest of the harem to do, while I went to supervise Runey.

  Runey: “Is watching me really necessary, even slightly? I only ran… because literally hundreds of my wives were having children at the same time!” She asked with a pouty tone, while working on the System.

  Vulely: “This narration is aimed at adults, but I can’t just make the rest of it smut. Currently, Celia is only having sex, you know… And apart from the System repairs, there isn’t anything else for me to narrate over at the moment.” I honestly answered with a sigh.

  Runey: “What about my daughter, Lotte? Surely, Zelia and her situation is… interesting. That could be a good bit of filler for a few chapters, right?” She replied with a thinking pose, taking her eyes off the System.

  Vulely: “…”

  Runey: “?”

  I didn’t have the heart to tell Runey the truth via words, so I simply… did a tribbing (scissoring, etc.) gesture with my fingers, to which she got in just a few seconds of seeing me do that. Red in her face, Runey seemed to be actually upset.

  Skillfully, Runey decided to not bring up her daughter’s relationship again, and she simply worked on the System in quiet. Of course, I did help her a few times, as two heads are typically better than one alone.

  Vulely: “…Did you have to slam the access panel shut like that? The System is a delicate piece of Mana machinery!” I scold with a serious tone and expression.

  Runey: “Yes, I actually did have to do that. If I don’t, then the Mana, mostly Pure Mana, tries to escape if the access panel isn’t properly shut. I mentioned to Xena about installing a better door, but she said that it was a problem for us in… a million or so years. That is, if we end up remembering about it.” She explained with a groan.

  Vulely: “Oh, then I’m sorry for snapping at you. How long will it take before we can use the System again?” I reply with a remorseful tone, before asking another question.

  Runey: “I added and updated so much of the System… so it will take about a month for the rebooting process to complete. Until then… I guess that you and the others can just relax, or something.” She answered with a somewhat uncertain tone.

  Vulely: “Hm… that isn’t so bad. Considering the System never got fixed at all in my original Timeline, and it getting fixed so early in this one will be a major boon to our family!” I replied with an excited tone, remembering to praise my daughter, and rub her head a few times as well for doing such a good job.

  Runey: “Vulely, I miss my wives and kids, so, if there isn’t anything else that you need me for, I’ll be going back to Home now.” She said with an impatient tone and wistful expression.
