Hey, so first things first, yeah, I know it’s been a while. About a year, maybe a little more, since the last chapter went up. That one’s on me, and I’m sorry.

  This story has been with me for a long time, close to a decade now. It didn’t even start as a LitRPG. That came later, after I fell in love with the genre and eventually found a home for it on Royal Road. Since then, I’ve rewritten, restructured, and lived in this world more times than I can count. It’s one of my first stories, and by far my longest, and it’s not something I could ever just abandon.

  I’ve still been writing during that time, just not always here. Other projects, other worlds, polishing things that needed it. But Chronicles of a Fallen Star never stopped being important to me, even when it was sitting quietly in the background.

  So here’s the big news. As of January 14, 2026, Chronicles of a Fallen Star is officially releasing on Amazon. That’s… honestly pretty exciting to finally say out loud.

  Because of Amazon’s KDP requirements, chapters roughly from the middle of Volume I, around chapter 3 through chapter 20, will be stubbed here for the 90-day exclusivity period. After that, we’ll see how things go and what the future looks like.

  One thing I want to be clear about, I didn’t cut this story down because I didn’t care. I did the opposite. I tried trimming it, and every time, it felt like the characters lost something important. So instead, Part I was broken into three volumes. That felt like the right way to preserve what makes this story what it is. And yes, Part II already exists as well.

  If the release does well, great, we’ll see where that takes us. If not, I’m still proud of getting it out there. Either way, I’m excited to finally give this story a proper mainstream release.

  And lastly, Part III is officially in the works. After taking time to polish some other stories, I’m finally back in this world again. Those other projects, mostly unfinished but fairly polished, around 70% complete, will be going up on my Patreon over the next couple of days.

  New Chronicles chapters will start going up again closer to the release of Volume I on Amazon.
