Cultivators From The Central Plain 4

Before dawn broke into the horizon, Lu Zheng slowly opened his eyes.

He felt his body was being tugged… or so he thought, when he finally recognized the pain, striking his left abdomen.

At the same time, he was hearing an annoyed voice, calling him.

“Peasant! Wake up! Morning is about to arrive. You think you still have the leisure to sleep more?

  Wake up!”

Lu Zheng hastily sat up and crawled away from her. If he let her kick her abdomen more, he would not be surprised it would cause an internal bleeding.

Even if she was holding back, she has the strength of a powerful Adept rank.

In other words, letting her do as she pleased on his body was certainly a bad idea.

He gazed at Xia and recalled what happened earlier. He was infuriated but tried his best not to show it.

  Unfortunately, his eyes exposed him.

Xia stared at his eyes and grinned.

“Oho? You are directing hostility towards me now? Do you want to taste my fist again? Earlier, when you tasted it, you broke your jaws.”

Lu Zheng frowned and finally exhaled. He shrugged.

He stopped staring at her face and thought. She is no doubt beautiful, but only on the outside. What a venomous snake!

  “What are you thinking?”

Lu Zheng shook his head and said without looking at her, “Nothing. I was thinking of giving up. You can do as you please. Just don’t kill me or cripple me. At the very least, I am still grateful you saved me.”

However, on the inside he was thinking, ‘you saved me and I’m grateful for that. However, I will still kill you in the future for humiliating me this much.

I swear it in my heart.’

Ravyn’s voice suddenly echoed in his mind.

Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

“Stop making swears out of nowhere. Promises are meant to be broken, you doofus. What if you fell in love with her and failed to kill her, in the end? That might be the cause of your death!”

“NO! THERE’S NO WAY I WILL!” Lu Zheng instantly screamed in his mind.

After Lu Zheng got possessed by Ravyn, he had become stronger and his pride undoubtedly soared.

However, to think he would be humiliated even more? Sure, they might came from the Central Plains, but that did not mean they could torture him as they pleased!

“Why do you love to be absent-minded? A cultivator like you easily gets consumed by their mind. Do you want to be killed that much?”

Despite the mockery in her tone, there was amusement mixed within.

However, Lu Zheng did not notice it… in fact, he did but he did not recognize it. After all, this venomous snake always loved to mock him.

Even then, he did not retort. He did not want to suffer again.

He replied, “I am sorry for that. I can’t just help myself.”

If he had to cast aside his pride just to survive, then he would not hesitate. Of course, the grudge was deeply planted in his heart, so he would certainly not forget to return the favor Xia and Elder Ming gave to him.

Xia snorted. “Hump! Whatever malicious thoughts you have, keep it to yourself. Taking revenge on us is impossible. Our level is the difference between heaven and earth…”

Suddenly, she recalled Lu Zheng summoning a Partial Domain and she grimaced. She glanced at Lu Zheng, who was still not staring at her and thought, ‘How is this guy able to summon a Partial Domain when he is only an Intermediate rank cultivator? I did not even hear of it even in the Central Plains.’

Just when she confidently thought so, she recalled a legend of a powerful cultivator in the Central Plains.

At the age of four, he already manifested his yellow qi ball.

At the age of eight, he was already an Intermediate rank cultivator.

At the age of twelve, he was already an Adept rank cultivator.

At the age of sixteen, he was already an Expert rank cultivator.

At the age of twenty, before he stepped into the Master rank, he was able to summon a Partial Domain!

When she recalled, she stared at Lu Zheng in shock. She thought, ‘The most genius cultivator in history only summoned a Partial Domain at the age of twenty, and this guy looks… sixteen?

Four years difference? Is he a genius?’

She frowned and continued thinking, ‘But why is he only at the Intermediate rank? Is it because of the lack of opportunities?’

She glanced at the sword beside Lu Zheng and the necklace on his neck. She shook his head.

‘There’s no way, right? At the very least, if he is indeed a genius, he would be on the Adept rank, at least.’

As much as she wanted to pry on Lu Zheng’s secret, she held back.

In the end, she thought, ‘What if all of it was just pure luck? Or he was only possessed by a powerful cultivator?’

She pondered for a while and finally concluded her thoughts. ‘Whatever. If he is indeed talented, he will be able to keep up with my practice and enter the Adept rank soon. By then, I can spar him to my heart’s content.’

  Her eyes sparkled in excitement.

Meanwhile, Lu Zheng, who felt Xia’s gaze on him, seemingly contemplating as well, could not help but comment in his mind.

‘Look at her, being absent-minded. Yet, she also has the audacity to scold me for being absent-minded, too?’

  He wanted to shake hi

s head in disappointment, but restrained himself
