**Volume 2: Upper World**
**Chapter 105: Three Realms (Arc: Beginning of the End)**
July 4th, 12:49 a.m. – Shinjuku (Collapsed Plaza Ruins)
Jason got up slow — blood dripping from his mouth, dark blue-pink aura flickering like a bad bulb. The cuts from Jane’s fireball were still open across his chest — deep, angry lines — but they were already knitting, skin pulling tight over raw flesh. He wiped his lip with the back of his hand — looked at Jane standing thirty feet away — core scar pulsing bright green, smile gone now, eyes narrowed.
Jason didn’t say anything.
He just ran.
Fists clenched — aura exploding colorful — green, blue, red swirling around his knuckles like living paint. Each punch carried different damage: green for raw impact that cracked bone, blue for spatial warp that twisted internals, red for burning will energy that ate at the soul.
First punch — green — slammed into Jane’s face. Jane’s head snapped sideways — cheekbone fracturing — blood spraying. Second — blue — to the chest — Jane’s ribs caved inward — air forced out in a wet gasp. Third — red — uppercut to the chin — Jane’s head rocked back — teeth clacking — will energy burning in his throat.
Jane staggered — then clapped.
**Dismantle.**
Invisible cuts slashed — Jason’s arm got hit — skin peeling back in clean lines — blood fountaining. Jason didn’t flinch — kept coming.

Jane’s mind flashed — Jefferson’s techniques — the old Vessel moves he’d absorbed when he took the core. He was in his own form now, but the memories were there — strongest one: **Core Collapse** — fist glowing black-red — energy coiling like a dying star.
Jane threw it.
The punch connected — Jason’s chest caved — ribs shattering inward — blood exploding outward — body flying back twenty feet. Jason hit the ground — skidded — brain frying from the overload — vision blurring white-hot.
But he got up.
Instantly healing — curse kicking in — bones snapping back, skin knitting, blood reversing flow. He shook his head — cleared the fog — eyes locking on Jane.
Jason moved fast — afterimages trailing at 50 fps — then 100 — then more — blurring everywhere in a 5-foot radius. Jane couldn’t track him — fists and kicks coming from every angle — Jane blocked some, took others — blood misting the air.
Jane raised his hand — fireball forming again — crimson-white-hot — threw it.
It missed.
Jason was already behind him — fist pulled back — **Azure Flash** — punched Jane’s back at full force. Jane flew forward — crashed through a concrete pillar — dust exploding outward.
Josh — in Cam’s body — blurred in — black-red glow in his eyes — helping Jane.
Jason ducked Josh’s punch — kicked him hard — Josh flew — slammed into a staircase — railing bending — body crumpling.
Jason looked at him — voice low.
“It’s alright. I’ll win.”
Jane and Josh got up — hands together — realms building at the same time.
Jane clapped — **Laughing Void – Open.**
Josh clapped — **Cam’s Shadow Realm** — shadows flooding outward.
Jason clapped — **The Framework** — fps locking into place.
Three-way realm clash.
The plaza warped — black-red haze mixing with green shadows and Jason’s frame grid — air thickening, gravity shifting, time stuttering. Jason stood in the middle — aura flaring — glass forming around him like a shield — thin, shimmering layer.
He ran through it — glass cracking but holding — punched Josh into his own realm wall — shadows exploding on impact. Josh staggered — Jason kicked his face — blood spraying — grabbed Josh by the collar — yanked him up — threw him hard — slammed his foot down into Josh’s chest.
Josh’s body jerked — ribs caving — blood flying everywhere — eyes wide — then still.
Josh’s soul flickered — black-red — tried to jump — but Mara’s body — nearby, still and broken from earlier — suddenly twitched.
Mara’s void eye glowed — faint blue-white — soul snapping back in.
Mara sat up slow — blood dripping from his mouth — looked around — felt Ray’s energy pulsing far off.
“Don’t worry,” Mara rasped — voice rough, alive. “I’m coming to help.”
The chapter ended with Jason standing over Josh’s body — breathing hard — glass shield cracking around him — looking at Ray in the distance.
To be continued…
