It is 9 years after the Battle of Yavin. The Empire of the Hand, a secretive group created by Grand Admiral Thrawn to protect the galaxy, discovers and fights threats in the dangerous Unknown Regions of the Star Wars galaxy. The shadow of the Grysks, a deadly species adept at subverting and manipulating others to bend them to do their will, creeps across the worlds of the region. Laceeya, a Chiss Commodore in the Empire of the Hand, commands a task force of ships to try and stop the evil Grysks and their expanding conquest.
