Season 3: Catpurr 5: I can give you a... Unhand with that.

“Kidnapping a noble?! What are we going to do with a noble?”

“Sell her to the highest bidder?”

“And then what? Cower as they send their army after us?”

“What are we going to do? She keeps threatening me.”

“Lord Adam surely has a plan.”

“Can you stop with the Lord Adam crap? It's getting old.”

Adam frowned, his brow furrowing with annoyance as his consciousness woke to the chorus of four women bickering.

“Hey, I think he's waking up,” Ellie said as Adam kept his eyes closed, attempting to ignore the four women whose presence over him was nearly suffocating.

“Hey! Wake up!” Junith spat, her hand raised to slap Adam only to be stopped by Dominica. “Let go of me curr.”

“Touch the master and you'll regret it,” Dominica replied as a loud, angry scream sounded from afar.

Maybe if I keep pretending to be asleep they'll go away. Adam said to himself.

  “LET ME OUT!”

Adam sighed, finally opening his eyes to the group of women staring at him.

“Why…. Am I not in my coffin?” Adam muttered.

“You got out,” Junith replied as Adam sat up, rubbing his head and looking down at the set of clothes on his body that wasn't what he had been wearing when he fell asleep.

“Crapbaskets…” Adam groaned, the oversized clothes making his body appear even smaller than usual.

  “LET ME OUT!”

Adam froze, his heart skipping a beat as he recognized the voice.

The howl of one Alencia Vilencial.

He turned his head, looking at Junith directly, “Please tell me that isn't who I think that is? Please. Please. Please tell me.”

The paladin put on a smirk, her eyes gleaming with pleasure that made Adam facepalm.

“No…. Nononono, NO!” Adam yelled before turning to Dominica and Ellie. “WHY?! You were supposed to contain me!”

“My apologies milord,” Dominica said, lowering her head in shame as Ellie went red in the face. “I make no excuses for my failure, if you would wish to punis-”

Adam threw his hands up in exasperation, rising from his bed acquired during one of Dungeon’s raids to stand up as another scream sounded out.

“SERIOUSLY!” Adam shouted, a headache already forming as the heir to the duchy continued to make a ruckus. “How did this happen?!”

“Perhaps I may be of assistance,” Dungeon said as a holographic recording appeared from the construct’s palm and displayed Adam in his adult form tearing through the rows of human soldiers and adventurers.

Many attempted to stop him, but between his insane regeneration, explosive speed, and raw power, he was nigh unstoppable against the armies of man.

  What am I….

Adam closed his eyes, pinching the bridge of his nose as he let out a groan, “My headache… I can feel it behind my eyes… growing...”

“I'm sorry… but combined I don't think any of us can stop you when you become… big Adam,” Ellie said, her ears downcast.

Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

Adam pursed his lips, the young necromancer attempting his best to ignore the annoying squawking of the captive noble echoing through his dungeon.

Ellie had a point. Despite using chains, a coffin of gold, and tasking his cohorts to watch over him, his countermeasures had been easily undone.

Adam sighed, “Well… it is me after all, if I was easy to contain I wouldn't be alive right now.”

Junith raised a brow at Adam's choice of verbiage.

“What are we going to do?” Ellie asked, pointing to the magical display that showed nearly hundreds of soldiers amassing in front of Adam's home. There were even several familiar faces

“Worry not,” Adam said, turning to the avatar of his dungeon. “I have a plan.”

  "Oh... great." Junith muttered.

Following the echo of rampant screeching, Adam eventually stood before a hole in the wall blocked by bars of bones and several skellie cats.

Within said wall was Alencia von Vilencial, the same woman that had captured and attempted to perform an ad hoc tail transplant surgery from Junith to Adam.

Adam frowned, eyeing the disheveled woman who sat tied up but not gagged with Redfield standing over her.

“You! Unhand me this once vermin! Do you have any idea what you're doing?! What my mother will do once she finds out you've kidnapped her heir?!” Alencia screamed, the noble almost foaming at the mouth as she vibrated in place.

In a way, it was almost comical if not for the looming threat of several hundred soldiers preparing to storm his home.

“Oh how the turns have tables,” Adam said smugly, recounting how the woman had hounded him through the halls of her castle only to stop upon him unleashing a titanic slime that devastated her estate.

“It's How the tables have turned, you idiot!” Alencia hissed. “Once I get out of here I'm going to turn you and your kin into a coat! Maybe even new boots and gloves! I'LL FASHION YOU INTO A LAMPSHADE!”

Adam turned to Junith, “She sounds a lot like you.”

  “No she doesn't,” Junith scowled.

“I'LL KILL YOU!” Alencia screamed with Adam gesturing back and forth between Alencia and Junith.

“I can see it,” Liza chimed in, earning her a glare from the ex-paladin.

“Here's the deal,” Adam said, adopting a serious look as he eyed the woman's gaze shifted down to the oversized clothes barely obscuring his body. “The duchess has sent an army to get you, and while I'm more than happy to release you, something tells me you're just going to be a pain in my ass if I do.”

“So what? You're going to keep me hostage? In these conditions?!”

  “Yes,” Adam said flatley.

“And when the army comes for her? They have other chosen with them, even with the dungeon mass producing soldiers it is only a matter of time before they reach the sanctum,” Junith said, the paladin offering information Adam already had deduced.

“I know, unfortunately because of your collective FAILURES to contain my curse form, I now have to resort to more archaic tactics of converting every chosen that enters my domain!” Adam yelled, throwing his hands up in annoyance only for a skellie cat to land on his shoulders.

For a moment, a split moment, Adam felt comfort from the undead feline, but it soon faded as his longing for his only friend blossomed up within.

Adam deflated, “I don't even want to perfect the world anymore, I just want my cat…”

“Hey, here's an idea, why don't you bite her and turn her into a werecat?” Liza asked, causing the noble’s eyes to slowly widen as Adam turned his head to the pink-haired cat.

“And have this creep following me around? In my presence twenty-four seven? I'll pass,” Adam grumbled, “CRAPBASKETS!”

Adam recoiled, stepping back from the woman's face nearly touching his from between the bony bars.

“You can turn me into a beastren?” Alencia whispered, her eyes wide, mouth ajaw, hands clenching the barriers of her prison so hard they cracked under her grip.

Adam frowned, sensing trouble brewing as he eyed the crazed look in Alencia's eye and how easily she had slipped her bindings.

“Liza, shut up! Why are you always making trouble for me?!” Adam spat.

“What? What did I do?! I didn't even do anything!”

“This!” Adam gestured at the dreamy eyed noble. “You did this! I don't know what this is! But this!”

“Please! Turn me into one of you!” Alencia screamed, reaching out and grabbing Adam by the neck to pull him towards the bars.

“STOP! UNHAND ME! HELP! HEK!” Adam screamed, the woman attempting to pull him into the cage as Ellie grabbed his feet to prevent him from being catnapped.

“You can turn me by biting right?!” Alencia screeched, eyes insanely wide, her heated breath on Adam’s neck as she tried to put her fingers into his mouth. “Bite me! Bite me! Do it!”

Alencia began to drool, sending shivers down Adam's spine.

“UNHAND ME!” Adam screamed with Redfield on the move to choke the noble out.

“Wait, don't hurt her!” Junith spat, “If she dies we're all screwed!”

“BITE ME! BITE ME! BITE M- Huh?” Alencia let out as the entire dungeon fell silent as the woman's hands fell to the floor and Adam landed in Dominica's arm.

“You were not given permission to touch Lord Adam,” Dominica said, flicking a blade free of Alencia's blood and sheathing her weapon as everyone eyed Alencia's wrists gushing blood where her hands once were.

Adam slowly closed his eyes, his palm striking his face as an ear-piercing shriek sounded from the daughter of the duchess.
